We are thrilled to have lighting designer Jenni Pystynen and scenographer and costume designer Salli Kari onboard to further strengthen our design team. These talented designers will boost our expertise while working with upcoming and exciting projects and clients.
Salli Kari is a scenographer and a costume designer who has worked in several City Theaters around Finland. She holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree from Aalto University. Besides theater she is also interested in installation art, painting and writing. In Sun Effects Kari works as a designer and her goal is to design spaces that tell inviting and memorable stories.
Lighting designer Jenni Pystynen has been working with light in various contexts from architecture to performing and media arts. She studied lighting design in University of Applied Sciences of Tampere and architectural lighting design in Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. For the last decade Pystynen has worked in London both as a freelancer and at Jason Bruges Studio designing lighting for clients such as Foster+Partners, BBC and Science Museum.
At Sun Effects Pystynen will be joining the architectural lighting design team and will be working on plethora of projects ranging from museums and interior lighting to installations and light in public spaces. She has a particular interest in daylight and the affect light has on us emotionally and biologically.
