Sun Effects designed and produced this generative video and light art work “Kaleidoskopix” for Tokino Sumika resort in Gotemba, Japan. The piece was inspired by kaleidoscopic visuals, and placed in a large dome structure.

Custom video surfaces consisted of a large platform that visitors could walk on and a triptych of circles. Floor element was made interactive by sound, so that audience was able to affect the visual by stepping or jumping on the floor. All video content was generative by nature, constantly changing and reshaping itself. The generative video was supported with dynamic lighting.

The piece was on display for five months in 2022-2023.
