Lux Helsinki is a light art festival organized by the City of Helsinki annually since 2009 around Helsinki. Domestic and international light and video installations take over the streets and buildings of Helsinki in January, during the darkest season of Finland. With its annual 500,000 visitors Lux Helsinki stands among one of the biggest light art festivals in Scandinavia and Europe.

Sun Effects has been curating the program and designing and producing the event for the City of Helsinki since 2012.
