Heureka’s Wild Wild Wood exhibition presents wood as a versatile material that, in addition to traditional sawing, is now processed in a computer-controlled and automated manner. The exhibition tells about the importance of forests and long-lived wood products in mitigating climate change, and presents its current uses in a variety of ways. It is a multi-sensory, personal and impressive experience of the finesse of wood material.

Sun Effects designed and implemented the lighting for the exhibition, with a particular focus on the materiality of the wood and its presentation. The lighting was intended to make the beautiful surfaces glow and emphasize the fascinating designs of the exhibition objects.
